Good innit?
Let me be the one you call.
If you jump I'll break your fall.
Lift you up and fly away with you into the night.
If you need to fall apart, I can mend a broken heart.
If you need to crash then crash and burn; you're not alone.
Holy shit! That man can sure write wonderful lyrics (and the music rocks too!) [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Thanks to Pia over at the f/c who posted a pic of this beautiful painting which features the lyrics of Crash & Burn It currently resides somewhere in Denmark but I don't know who painted it.

It surely is a beautiful song and this painting I feel really captures the essence of the words. I think it's amazing how one form of art can influence and inspire another area of it to create something so beautiful [img]graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I adore this song.. it's one of those that tugs right at the heartstrings eh.
As much as I love listening to it on CD.. there's nothing like hearing him sing it live which was one of the highlights for me on the DL tour as I never got to see SG in concert.
I'm now going to gush slightly .. for me when I heard him sing this live... his voice sounded different to the other songs.. almost pure ( told you I was going to gush!). Perhaps it's just me and because that song has special meaning to me but he seemed to pour such passion into the way he sung it including the facial expressions and they way he held himself( not literally FILTH!!). Especially at the end when he stood with his head back rocking from side to side with his arms out.
